NEVER allow anyone to put dive weights on you in any amount that you can't easily dump in sn emergency. There's a very similar story of 2 US Coast Guard divers killed on an Arctic dive off the ship the Healy. Weights in the pockets and they couldn't dump them. Down they went 😢
